Atop a tower and on the seventh floor is the Gryffindor common room. A vibrant flame from the fire place keeps the chilled room warm and students find themselves sitting comfortably in the huge brown and scarlet couches and chairs that fill the room. Near the bookshelf a 7th year named Fred attempts to sell a 1st year a box of 'candy' from his fathers stoor while a prefect weves his way through the crowded room to stop the injustice.
